My layout is about my sweet kids. They were both home from college for
Christmas break & we all headed to the Fort Worth (Texas) Stockyards
to take LOTS and lots of pics!

My journaling is along the right side of my layout and reads:

on top of my photo, with the bottom half under my photo
(after backing it with patterned paper)

My Valentine's are usually quiet but today I hope it will be added to a favorite as I am planning a Surprise Valentine's Party for my kids when they come home from school :)

Today was a nice day - it feels almost like spring!
Four years ago, then my first child was made :))
My favorite valentines days were when my kids were little and I would go into their classrooms to help with parties.
This is gorgeous. I love the hearts and all the dimension.
My favorite Valentines would have to be the year my hubby bought me a vacuum. I know it sounds funny but after a few months of sweeping the floor I was literally jumping up and down when I saw the box! :)

Favourite Valentines Day? We have never been big on just one day a year, but rather trying to show love everyday and spend time with the people who are the most important in your life. I would say though that the first Valentines day that I held my first grandchild in my arms was pretty sweet! I love your layout. The background is fantastic!

Not V day favourite, but our anniversary is on the 15th...who thought of getting married the day after V day, LOL. Still love that my dearest picked this date to get married. We are going to a posh restaurant tomorrow.
Such a great LO, I love the background and that it's non-traditional Valentines colours. My favourite Valentines Day was in college when my then boyfriend, now husband, had my dorm mates fill my dorm room with balloons while we were out for dinner. Thanks for a chance to win!

My favorite Valentine's Day was the day that my husband and I decided that we would celebrate our love the "14th" of each month. We were married on the 14th..........so it's V-Day but 14 is always V-Day for us!

my hubby's birthday is on valentine's day, so each valentine's day is special...usually us, kids, and grandkids just hanging out and having fun!

I would have to say my favorite and most memorable Valentine's Day was when my stepdad proposed to my mom. I was about 8 years old at the time. He changed our lives in a good way. I see him more as my father and feel very lucky to have him in my life.
Cute layout! Love that orange chevron ribbon and the journaling on the rigt hand side. My favorite Valentine's day was last year. We had a ton of fun making the Valentines for my daugher's class, and we surprised the girls with chocolate fondue for dessert.

This is the 1st Valentine's Day in awhile that I haven't been gone on a business trip, so it will probably be my favorite so far because I'll actually get to see my husband!!
Don't really celebrate V-day but tomorrow my hubby has a day off so we're planning to go for coffee and some choclate cake.
My favorite Valentina's day is the first one I spent with my husband when we first got married. He was deployed and was able to come home to spend our first valentine together as a married couple with me. It's little things like that I cherish the most.

My favorite Valentine's Day was a couple years ago. I work 10 hour days and my husband had made a wonderful gourmet dinner: pork medallions with cheese stuffed dates and cous cous. With a lovely bottle of red wine, of course. I still think about that dinner. Yum! Food isn't just the way to a man's heart. ;)

This Valentine's Day promises to be pretty great. The first with three valentines (DH, DS5 and DS5months), DS5 and I had fun making cards for his class and we are going for a trip this weekend where we will get a fancy dinner and go to Archivers for the first time!

My favorite Valentine's day has to be the one where I delivered flowers for a local flower company to earn money for a not-for-profit group I am involved in. 3 days of delivering flowers. It was SO much fun to bring lovely flowers to people and see their smiles of joy and happiness and surprise.

My Daughter has always wanted to be a writer, Really even before she could spell her name she wanted to write stories. One Valentines day her gift to me was her "First Book" (She was 8) She was so proud of it as am I, It is a treasure. She has made many since but that was my Favorite because it was the start of her living her Dream and she gave it to me for valentines day!
My favorite Valentines Day was about 6 years ago when my son was 8. Such a sweet boy, he handmade me the most adorable Valentine telling me I was the best Mom in the whole world.
I've kept it in a special spot and when I run across it, it brings back all of the wonderful feelings I had when I first opened it up. Thanks for sharing your awesome project!

I don't really do Valentines day but in college one year me and my girlfriends did a Single Awareness day where we got dressed up and took ourselves out to dinner. We ended up watching Dirty Dancing and drinking wine coolers (we were pretty cool!) in our dorm room after dinner. It was great!
we don't celebrate valentine's day. we do, however, spend every day loving each other. it has been over 18 years!
I think my favorite Valentines day was 50 years ago...my mother was pregnant with twins and was in labor. There was no way of knowing if they were boys or girls until they came. I had 2 brothers!

The one Valentine's Day that comes to mind is the first one I spent with my boyfriend (now-husband). We had just started dating in the fall, and I think we both knew it was a special relationship. It was also the night I found out he doesn't have much of a sweet tooth, because of course I gave him a bunch of cookies!

I'd have to say my fave Valentine's Day is actually the memory of elementary school days when we made those shoe boxes with the opening in the top. I couldn't wait to get those babies home and check out all of my valentines and really study over what valentine the boy that i happen to have a crush on at the time chose for me.Was it an "I like as a friend or an " I want you to be my girlfriend" kind of Valentine? Oh the excitement of those days! lol!

My favorite Valentine's Day was the time my husband and I went on our belated honeymoon after 25 years of marriage!! We couldn't afford to take a honeymoon when we got married and had always said on our 25th wedding anniversary we would take one...it was the best Valentine's Day ever!

The last 3 years I have created Valentines cards (35) for a class @ my church to give in baskets for people who are alone. I pray that each person who receives them will feel loved and that they day will be brighter. This has been my fav thing these last 3 years. You have to know that I don't have a design eye and have to make each card different.
8 years ago I called and asked the man who is now my husband out on a date! Such an amazing first date it was!
My husband and I have a funny tradition of doing something more Halloween-y than Valentine-y on Feb 14. It all started when we were dating and my husband, thinking he was being romantic brought me to a college production of a streetcar named desire. He didn't know the premise... oooops. So every year we watch a horror flick or something like that. It's our fun tradition.
My favourite Valentine's Day activity is always the most recent one! I always make valentines for my grade 1 class at school. They get so excited; it's fun to watch!

my favorite valentine's day was when my husband (before we were engaged) and I went to an Italian restaurant and one of the nearby tables had a candle accident and something caught on fire. I think the people at that table were in shock because they didn't do anything. My husband ended up putting the fire out.
woo hoo! My favorite valentine's day was when i was living with my husband's parents finishing up an internship and when i went to leave for work that day I came outside to find teddybears buckled up in each seat of my car holding little gifts! I loved it!

My fave one has to be years ago when I surprised my husband & girls w/a ride in an all white horse drawn carriage. They loved it! After we had a picnic by a lake & we were all dressed up. Gifts & plastic wine glasses to drink some apple cider. They loved it!
This year was my favorite Valentines day, even though my bf was all the way across the country on a trip, he still made sure to talk to me when he was gone. I went out with some single girlfriends and we had a great time!

a couple of years ago, my boyfriend was very clever with his gift. He left me clues around the house which led me to more clues. the final clue had a key to a box in which my present was enclosed.
